Nice staff and decent food, but room had air conditioning issues during hot nights.

On line booking confirmed with corporate credit card for staff (marcel)of our business. Marcel arrived at hotel at midnight and was not permitted to check in. Owner of our business was contacted and had to drive into the office to confirm / fax cc authorization at 1am before marcel could check in. We won't be using the westmark for our staff this year and have already made arrangements directly with other hotels in whitehorse.

Overall it was a very comfortable stay in the town of Whitehorse Yukon. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast here, I had excellent dishes. The hotel was centrally placed.

The room was clean and felt safe, a relief after a long day. The window didn't open, and despite having a fan and a small air conditioner, it remained uncomfortably hot at night. The friendly staff made check-in smooth. The fries at the on-site dining were also enjoyable.

The room was good and beautiful with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a personal safe.

The rooms on level 2. Centrally located hotel right by Whitehorse and Close to bus terminal and restaurants and the lovely river walk. Nearby Miner's Daughter - great place to chill out.

We had a fun night here where the kids loved the indoor pool and we enjoyed some quality time in the hot tub. The relaxation options were perfect after a long day and offered a great way to recharge. The only downside was the lack of parking, so plan accordingly 🏊‍♂️

Stayed in brand-new room on level 2. Generally everything was great, even so the bathroom was very small. A particularly good attached restaurant was open on site.

Comfortable Stay with Helpful Staff

I appreciated the comfortable mattress and the quick response of the staff to fix minor issues in our room. Enjoyed delicious meals at the onsite restaurant, with generous portions that satisfied our family. Pro tip, arrive early for parking, as it can fill up quickly.

Easy access to downtown attractions. Inner courtyard provides a decent level of privacy despite the older hotel vibe.

No parking available, leading to a frantic morning routine just to avoid a tow. The lack of detail in maintenance shows through with stained mattresses and dated décor, contributing to a musty smell in the rooms. The atmosphere can feel unsettling with non-guests frequently passing through common areas. Security escorting them out is a temporary fix and doesn't address the discomfort.

The Sternwheeler Hotel And Conference Centre had a great location, close to stores and food options. Our king room wasvery comfy and tidy, perfect for a family. We appreciated the nearby Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs.

Stayed in a King Room for one night. The room was clean and I felt safe. The bed was pretty comfy, but the noise from the hall was distracting at times with a big gap under the door. Staff were attentive, nice. Great location close to stores and restaurants, so that was a plus.

The wedding setup was beautiful. Limited parking did pose a bit of a challenge.

The wedding ceremony was beautifully set up, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The location near the river added a lovely touch for nice photos.
